课程内容简介（英文）：This course focuses on pressing issues in the field of ecological and environmental protection, a priority area highly emphasized by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council. It primarily introduces the social impacts and underlying mechanisms of these issues. By integrating national science popularization efforts, policy directions, and future planning, the course analyzes relevant prevention and control measures along with their principles. The course is divided into thirteen chapters, covering fundamental environmental issues related to water, soil, and air, as well as emerging topics such as COVID-19 and the "dual carbon" goals.
